Welcome to Mindset Monday by the Sales IQ podcast. I'm your host, Luigi Prestinenzi and I'm here to help you be the best you can be. Everyone has a potential to be the best version of themselves there can be. Sometimes things prevent us from capitalizing on that awesomeness that is sitting dormant inside of you.

This podcast is about helping you unlock your potential by focusing on one thing that can help you be the very best you can be.

If people are doubting, how far you go go so far that you can't hear them anymore. It's a quote by Michelle Ruiz. Why is that quote something that I'm looking at this morning? The power of community is such an incredible part of success, but also can be an incredible part of failure. And we think about this, that the people that you have around you are going to do one of two things.

They're going to elevate you to be the best you can be, or they potentially could hold you back now. When you think about this and think about what's the type of network that you've built around you, how is this network helping you be the best you can be? Are they constantly criticizing the actions that you take?

And, and I'm not saying that criticism is a bad thing, right? Because I think we all need to sometimes hear what we don't want to hear so that we can improve what we do and that we can push ourselves outside of our comfort zone. But there's a difference between positive feedback and just complete and other, other negative feedback from people that don't want you to be the best you can be.

So think about the people that you have around you and think about the impact that they're currently having on you. And if you're not getting the right feedback, if you haven't created the right environment for you. To push yourself outside your comfort zone, to challenge your thinking, to try and elevate what you're currently doing, then really create a manifest the type of people that you want to have around you.

Right? Because that community aspect is just such an incredible, it's just an incredible part of life. It's not just about being successful, right? It's about sharing things with people and having that human connection. And creating that level of engagement and emotion that can come with having a really great community around you.

And I'd say these because in my sales career I've been, I've been absolutely privileged to have some incredible people around me. And I've also been, you know, held back in some, in some cases with people that have just not wanted me to succeed. And you know why that happens. I dunno. I, I CA I can't tell you that, um, I'm not a psychologist.

I'm not someone who spent a lot of time focusing on why people hold you back. But I do know the impact on us can be absolutely significant. So my message this week is really, really clear, right? It's really, really simple. Like it is every week, right? I'd say my message is really clear each week, but what I'm trying to get to is the community, the community that we serve, we also need to create a community that serves us and that community.

It's so vital in elevating us in, in elevating our thinking and choosing people to have you have part of your network. It's a privilege, not just a privilege for you, but a privilege for them. We've all got something unique to offer the world. We are all special. We all have innate talents and capabilities that make us who we are and to show.

Other people, those talents to show people who we are, it's a privilege to them. Just like it's a privilege for us to have those people in our lives. And if it means you've got to cut some people from your inner circle, cut them. If they're not helping you. And they are consistently holding you back or telling you what copy done will telling you your dreams.

It just a pipe dream and might, you know, pushing you down. Cut those fuckers out. Cause it's simple. You don't need more negativity in the world. There's enough negativity on the news on Facebook and on the pipe is that we raid. We don't need more. But we do need more positivity around us. And again, not just yes, people that are going to tell you what you want to hear.

If people that can constructively help guide you and give you some coaching. And again, tell you maybe not what you want to hear, but you know, what's best for you in your pursuit and passion to achieve what's important to you. So that para community is absolutely vital.

So if you think this is a message that anyone, you know, needs to hear please like, rate and share this because this message is all about helping you develop the community so that you could be the very best person you can be.
