Welcome to Mindset Monday by the Sales IQ podcast. I'm your host, Luigi Prestinenzi and I'm here to help you be the best you can be. Everyone has a potential to be the best version of themselves there can be. Sometimes things prevent us from capitalizing on that awesomeness that is sitting dormant inside of you.

This podcast is about helping you unlock your potential by focusing on one thing that can help you be the very best you can be.

If you surround yourself with positive people who build you up the sky's the limit, that's a message from Joel brown. And why is that message so important today? Because one of the most challenging things when it comes to selling and going out there and in any profession and trying to be the best you can be is maintaining that level of positivity is looking at things from a growth mindset in finding the learning in every opportunity, even when things go wrong, that mindset will allow us to grow and develop our skillset and our capability.

The challenge though, We may encounter people. Don't share that same attitude to life. It doesn't mean they're bad people. It essentially means that they might be in a place where they see things from a negative where they see the glasses half empty versus half full, or they're a bit cynical or question the actions that we take.

But in order for us to elevate and break through that ceiling of potential and be the best we can be, we need to ensure we're putting in as much. Positive energy as possible because days can drown us days can drain us. Life can be a challenge, but it's those challenges that enable us to just take things to another level, to help us learn and allow us to be more resilient.

Like if you look at last year, I've said this before, and I'll say it again. Yes, it was challenging, but for me, it allowed me to learn something about myself. I didn't know. It allowed me to see a part of myself. I didn't want to see and create that habit, that desire that hunger to not get back there and the way that I've started 2000.

And 21 has been bring really interesting. I was a bit flat. I was a bit slow out of that gate, right. Which is unlike me, but the habits that are formed to get back into gout every morning, waking up training, getting up early, surrounding myself with positive like-minded people who want to get that endorphins, you know, smashed in the morning.

First thing in the morning at the gym, it's fucking awesome. And it allows me to create that energy that I need to drive through the day, talking to people on my podcast, listening to other people's podcasts is allowing myself. To be surrounded by positive like-minded people. Now you might be thinking, but I'm at home.

I'm stuck at home working or our office isn't open yet. How do I create that surrounding now? But we are surrounded by so many incredible positive things. If we create that positive environment for ourselves, listen to a podcast, follow people on LinkedIn, engage with other positive like-minded people on LinkedIn.

You have the ability to create. The most positive environment that you need to be successful. There's no excuse. And if there are people that are in your network that are pulling you down, that are not elevating you, empowering you to be the best you can be, limit your exposure to them. And I say this with respect because I've heard people say cut them out of your life, but there are some people we just simply can't cut out of our lives.

And that's just my opinion, but limit the interaction will limit what we hear from. So that it doesn't drag us down. So my message is wake is really clear. The mindset is what will elevate us to be the best we can be is what will help us achieve that next level of success that we desire. So, And in order to achieve that, the environment in which we work within is critical in achieving that success.

So my messages create the success, create that environment that will allow you to be the best you can be, find positive influence that will help you and elevate. And create that internal desire to continue and push through and be that very best person you can. And like I said, it's, it doesn't have to be as complicated as I need to go and find people and get them and talk to them every day.

It can be, you know, I listened to some incredible podcasts and they allow me to. To find that creativity and that inspiration that I need to be the best that I am trying to be. And I say that you've heard me say that time and time again, podcasts, music, listen to a Vici a lot. I listen to stuff that just gets me excited for life.

So if you need that extra 1% of positivity, don't make it an excuse of why go and find it. It's out there. Positive quotes and incredible people on LinkedIn that you. Podcasts find it it's out there as it it'll allow you to be the very best you can be. Now, if this is a message that's resonated for you or someone, you know, needs to hear this, please like, rate, share it DM them because I do this to help you be the very best sales professional you can be.
