In sales, we can't control all situations, and at the end of the day....you have to believe in yourself and understand what defines you, and how you feel about the journey you are on. Every day is a new opportunity to reboot, to progress and build resilience until you hit your targets.

Don't stop believing. You have it in you to succeed. You're on the journey to be the best you can be.

Welcome to mindset Monday by the Sales IQ Podcast. I'm your host, Luigi Prestinenzi, and I'm here to help you be the best you can be. Everyone has a potential to be the best version of themselves there can be. Sometimes things prevent us from capitalizing on that awesomeness that is sitting dormant inside of you.

journey. Don't stop believing too. One of my favorite tracks. It's a song that every time I hear it a feel like a go on cloud nine. I get lost in the, in the music I get lost in there in the, in the tunes and the lyrics. And I start to dream and I feel good. Now the last week I've been a bit crook con a bit of the man flu, right?

I've been, been a bit run down and sometimes your mindset can go below that line. Our Mike set can be a little bit. And you, as I've said, time and time again, it's okay to get into that position of negativity, but we must control our ability to move past that negativity and move to the point of positivity and ensure that we're setting ourselves up for success, but developing the right mindset that allows us to be the best we can be.

Now in sales. One of the greatest things in sales is that we just simply cannot. Situations with our buyers. And sometimes things don't go to plan and we don't get the outcome that we want. And the next quarter started, we're almost to the second half where we're moving this, year's moving fast. Halfway through almost halfway through your billing year.

And sometimes you just got to say, you know, what does it matter? What's happening? You just gotta believe because at the end of the day, the most important person that you need to believe he knew is you because your journey, you're not defined by the results that you achieve today or this month, essentially the results don't define you at all.

What defines you is how you feel about the path that. How you feel about the journey that you're on. And that is why I love this track so much. And that is why we have such an incredible opportunity in life because we truly do live in a world of abundance. And there are so many opportunities that are sitting in front of us that no matter what happens yesterday, positive or negative, we have another opportunity to start again today and build upon.

What we've learned the success, you know, one might say, well, I've, I've filed. I didn't hit the targets I needed. I didn't hit the metrics or I wanted to be successful, but that's okay. That's success in itself because it's an opportunity. To progress. There's an opportunity to build resilience. There's so much learning in both not hitting the targets that you want and hitting those targets that you want.

And if you haven't had the best start to this year, just believe and don't stop believing because the minute you stop believing is when the opportunities start to become draw. Mindset. We'll turn from one of abundance to one of scarcity and you never want to be in a mindset of scarcity because the world is massive.

One great thing. That's occurred through the global pandemic. It's allowed us to open up opportunities and channels of opportunities outside of our control. Outside of our main area where we live, the virtual world has expanded. The opportunities that are in front of us today. And that is an awesome outcome.

That's come from what has been a pretty, for some horrible experience. So my message is wake is clear. Don't stop believing you have it in you to be the best you can be. Take advantage of the opportunity that's sitting in front of you, and just remember. You're on the path, that journey to be the best you can be.
